About

This is Isness Songa, a part of a larger project that seeks to incorporate principles of recovery into everyday life.  When most people hear the word recovery they think of drugs and alcohol, or maybe compulsive behavior.  To us, it represents a program for practical behavior change toward personal and spiritual growth.  The Isness project aims to de-stigmatize physical and emotional sobriety while building a community around radical self-acceptance.

There is no right or wrong way to recover, and given everything we’ve been through lately (and, probably, will continue to go through as humans) it seems we could all use some recovery, even if that means simply recovering our sense of play

We respect all spiritual traditions and incorporate many of their practices into ours.  However, the beauty of sound, and what we do at Isness Songa, is that we don’t require you to learn asanas or memorize sutras.  We just ask that you listen.  People come to us when their brains are maxed out and they need to find balance, or when they have hang-ups with traditional spirituality. That’s the beauty of sound.  Sound meditations don’t judge or require you to believe anything.  The scripture of sound and these frequencies is universal.
