About

Dear Friend,

My obsession with sound started early, sliding across dance floors, trainspotting tracks, and trying to find the best party in the world. From the Bay Area's underground to festivals in Patagonia, the music was everything, until it wasn’t

The obsession turned into escapism and the balance started to tip as the nights got longer. It was Not Chill, to say the least.

Somewhere along the way the vibes got harder to find, and all of a sudden the dance floor wasn’t enough, but I kept chasing.  If you've been there, you know how the solution can seem like more.  The world pushes excess, leaving self care in the dust with hardly any dance spaces that don't revolve around the bar.

I realized losing balance isn't just a personal struggle; it's a shared experience. Too many of us have watched friends burn out, fade away, or simply “carry on” for fear of missing out.

But here's the thing—I found a way through and it didn't mean leaving the scene behind. It was a journey of little steps, real life experiments, and sound, on a path that gradually opened my mind. A full circle moment was when I had the single most powerful psychedelic experience from a simple song.  It was during a session where a woman was using nothing but her voice and crystal bowl.  Around then the idea of Isness was born.  It’s an attempt to give back what was given to me.

We're a crew of Ravers and DJs who've been through it all. We believe that losing balance is a symptom of disconnection, and we're all about reconnecting—without losing the music that moves us. Isness is a community that celebrates nightlife but lives consciously, supporting each other along the way.

We create high-impact, low-capacity events and experiences true to our underground roots—keeping the quality artists and ditching the regrets. We've picked up some tricks to maintain equilibrium amidst the wildness, and we're down to share them. Whether it's through our balance guides, sound meditations sessions, or just being a space where you can be you without judgment—we've got you.

We believe everyone should be allowed the dignity of their own experience, and don't care how you consume.  The hope is that when you choose to, you do it consciously.  If you're looking to keep the party alive without losing yourself, the door's open.

see what's there.

In Love and Service,

Isness
